On april 19 Sirish’s launch pad film Gouravam that earned good publicity has hit the big-screens today. In the movie the leading roles are Allu Sirish, Yami Goutham while Prakash Raj, Nassar, Sri Charan, Anupama Kumar, Kumaravel played prominent roles. Gouravam is a bilingual film written and directed by Radha Mohan, simultaneouly shot into Tamil and Telugu. Unlike many heroes, who opts for a commercial film in their debut, Sirish has choosen a subject with social responsibility. The movies points out a sensitive issue like Caste in the present society and how some people are creating communal violence in the name of honour. Allu Sirish said that he chose the subject to reach the family audience. Yami Gautam is the female lead in this film. She looks gorgeous in the posters and the trailers.
Gouravam is a family drama showcasing the evils of the caste system in villages, but the film has thought provoking elements, which connects emotionally, as per the lead actor Sirish.
