Recently director Apoorva Lakhia speaking to media said that the reason behind choosing Ram Charan for Zanjeer film is Magadheera. Lakhia said that he was all blown away after watching Ram Charan in Magadheera, performing to his full quotient. He thought nobody else will be better suited to play that role except Charan and that is why he have chosen charan for an angry young man character.
