Mahesh Babu said Bunny is right choice

Mahesh Babu, who is busy with his assignments, has not even seen Iddarammayilatho film. But he has close connection with the film. Here the story is, director Puri Jagannadh, who made Iddarammayilatho story ready five years back, had roped in Allu Arjun for the film. The project was confirmed with Allu arjun more than three years back. In the span of three years, Puri Jagannadh had made successful films with Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan.

During the shooting of Mahesh Babu starrer 'Businessman', Puri Jagannadh had shared the story of 'Iddarammayilatho' with Mahesh Babu and also told that he zeroed in Allu Arjun for the film. Mahesh Babu, who was impressed with the storyline, immediately he said that Bunny's selection was a right choice for the film and it would be a blockbuster hit. During an Interview, Puri Jagannadh revealed relation of Mahesh Babu with the film.

What Is Bad : Effort less... hurried direction of Puri, Missing entertainive one-liners, VILLAIN artist, VILLAIN Charecterization, No Entertainment, Non connective story, Over make-up, Nonsense Comedy, Zero Chemistry between lead pairs, Never used true energy of Allu Arjun.

Boring Scenes: Many scenese actually..., Catherine - Allu Arjun episode, Amala Paul music learning episodes, Climax fight scene, Ali-Brahmi comedy track, Dragged Climax.

Watch It Or Not ?: One more hurry-burry execution of Puri Jagannadh. One time watcher. Might still fare at box office due to no major flicks before and after.

Story :
Catherine Tresa [ Akanksha] is daughter of Union Minister Rao Ramesh, she lands in Spain to study psychology. Surprisingly Catherine gets to stay in same plot where Komali Sankarabhaeanam [Amala Paul] used to stay earlier and she founds Amala's diary. With curiosity she reads it and gets to know about Sanju Reddy [Allu Arjun]. Catherine falls in love with Allu Arjun but he is already in love with Amala. What all goes in between Allu Arjun-Catherine-Amala Paul forms the rest of the story.
StarPerformances :
Allu Arjun is growing as an ACTOR with every film and even in this flick too he impressive everyone with his dances, classic expressions at key scenes, fight scenes. But the raw naughty touch and high energy level which are USP’s of Allu Arjun missed to core.
Catherine Tresa is treat to watch, her skin show sizzles screen with flames but when comes to acting there is long away to go for her. Amala Paul looks cute in traditional half-saris , she is not so effective and her over makeup pinches you hard. Brahmi makes you laugh as Fidel Brahma in few scenes. Ali was offered less screen time and he too fails to deliver comedy as psychopath Mental Krishna.
Direction, Music & Technical Aspects :
Puri Jagannadh has fall short as director yet gain to make a commercial entertaining film even with support of Allu Arjun and high budget of 45 crores spent on movie. Screen play of Puri is neat but story and less punch line dialogues disappoints.
Devi Sri Prasad as usual gave fantastic soothing songs and even his background score music is gud. Fights and action sequences choreographed by Kaeche Kampakdee are outstanding and specially interval bang fight scenes is excellent. Much hyped cinematography by Amol Rathod is not up to the mark and production values looked grand.

Bunny charges Rs 1.3 crore for 30 sec

We have seen actors making a moolah with multiple endorsements and now Allu Arjun has gone a step further, showing a good income source for crowd-pullers in the Industry. As per the reliable sources, Allu Arjun was paid a whooping Rs 1.3 crore for allotting a 30 seconds footage for a product in his upcoming flick 'Iddarammayilatho' apart from the print media campaign. The 'Clear Anti-Dandruff Shampoo' ads were now extensively used in the promotional campaign of movie as part of the deal. However, Producer Bandla Ganesh willn't be receiving any benefit from this deal as the offer was a result of Bunny's growing popularity in Southern states.

Iddarammayilatho Movie Release is Postponed

In an interesting update, Allu Arjun stylish action entertainer Iddarammayilatho has been now postponed. The film will now hit the screens on May 31st. Initially, the makers were planning to release the film on May 24, but now it has been postponed due to various reasons. Puri Jagannadh is directing the film and it also stars Amala Paul and Catherine Tresa in lead roles. Bandla Ganesh is producing the film and Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music.
