Producer Tandra Ramesh has bought the remake rights of the Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s super hit Khaidi.’Khaidi’ movie which was a turning point in Chiranjeevi’s career and gave him a fan following and is now being remade. ‘Khaidi’ was released on 28 October 1983 directed by Kodandarami Reddy and written by Paruchuri BrothersTandra Ramesh, who is currently producing Gopichand-Nayantara’s flick, has acquired the Telugu remake rights of Khaidi from the producers trio (Tirupathi Reddy, Dhananjay Reddy & Sudhakar Reddy) for a whopping amount. The film would go to the floors in the second half of 2013.Ram Charan might step into the shoes of his dad Chiranjeevi for the remake or any other hero will take up the film. But currently, the discussions are under progress.While Director Puri Jagannath and Mahesh Babu expressed keen interest to remake the film few months back, the fans of Megastar desparately wants Ram Charan to play the protagonist.
